Subscription not reporting correctly

Subscription expense account (Landlord vision expense) was set up as a reoccurring expense but it looks like we didn't set the expense against the property but the portfolio. So, now when we look at our trial balance there is zero costs against subscriptions. Is there any way to change this without deleting all the expenses for the year and re-entering them all?

Hello

I am not able to see these expenses so I assume you have deleted them all. If so, re-enter them like this:

Add Repeating Expense
Set the Start Date to be when your first subscription payment was taken
Set the Supplier, Amount and other details
Set Item to Landlord Vision Subscription - this will set the account
Set the Property to Portfolio Cost

Press Save. The software will generate a new set of expenses. Please note that if your subscription amount has changed over time, you will need to use the Start and End Date boxes in the top section make the software only generate the right amount of expenses at that amount
