What is 'Statement' in reference to Tenant to LA payments?

Postby stevespfwe » Thu Oct 12, 2017 7:13 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to add payments for Tenant to Letting Agents, but it's asking for a Statement?

I can't find anywhere in the help or tutorials that refers to Statements and what they are, and what they're used for.

Could someone enlighten me please. In particular, when I create a new statement it asks for a date - is this the start of the bulk payments, or the end of the bulk payments?

Thanks.

Hello Stephen

Thank you for contacting support

Your letting agent will have given you a statement detailing all of the rent received and all of the expenses paid out, including their fees and any further expenses they may have incurred that month. The Statement that Landlord Vision is asking for is the name of this statement that the letting agent has sent you. The software will then create the statement to which you can add any further expenses and also the payment from the agent to yourself. This process is detailed here:

https://www.landlordvision.co.uk/univer ... ing-agents

The date is the statement date, which the software then uses for the bank reconciliation screen if there are no payments recorded

Kind regards
Roy
