Entering Historical data

Postby landlordvision » Fri May 13, 2016 3:37 pm

I'm having trouble entering historical payment data. I have a number of tenancies going back to 2004 and I'd like to enter all past tenant rental payments. I can't find the way to do this.

On the videos I can only find the process for entering each single payment. Obviously I don't want to repeat this process manually.

If these are not agent-managed tenancies then you can set the tenancy up as per normal, entering the original start date, and then under Tenant Manager => Payments => Tenant to Landlord tab, click on "Add Payment" and select the relevant tenant.

Once selected various fields will show up; enter a lump sum amount that covers the income received from this tenant during the previous years into the "Amount" field and then tick the flag "Would you like to make the payments paid on the invoice date?" to have all the invoices paid off and on the date they were due.
