Landlord Vision

I am trying to work out how to record a tenancy in the following circumstances:

Property purchased 26th October.

Sitting tenant has a tenancy that started 1st August.

Rental payments are from Monday to Sunday.

If I record the tenancy having payment start from 26th October, the rental payments run from Wednesday to Tuesday.

How do I set it up so that the payments to me start on a Wednesday (26th Oct) as a partial week payment, but then continue from Monday to Sunday?

You can create an irregular payment to cover this. In the Edit Tenancy screen, set the first line to be the 26th - 30th October as an irregular payment and then press the add button to the right of that entry to create a new line. Then start your weekly payments from the 31st
